Doctor's appointment
Yesterday we had another growth sonogram with Dr. Gibson. Baby is still small in the abdomen, but the good news is that she is still growing at the same pace. She now weights an estimated 4lbs 11 oz! This puts her in the 24% for weight. YEAH! The doctor said he will continue to monitor us a couple times a week and he will decide when the best time for her to make her arrival will be. We will just take things day by day. My cervix has softened as of yesterday but I am not starting to dialate yet. She continues to get the hiccups at least four times a day and her dad thinks it is the greatest thing ever to see it. Although the baby doesn't seem to like them too much :) Our glider is in so we get to pick it up by this weekend and have baby's room complete!

Update
We went and saw Dr. Leonardi today. Baby is still measuring on the small side but the good news is that she is continuing to grow! They are estimating that she is 4lb 5 oz. We are very happy about this. She is a fighter. She seems to think that she can get out through moms bellybutton today though. She continues to be very active. On Friday we went for the non stress test and she did well. Her heartrate went up as her activity did exactly how they wanted it to. She continues to get the hiccups all the time. We will be checked again on Wednesday with Dr. Gibson.

My Favorite Toy
Daddy and I already have a bedtime routine. I love to see and hear my glowbug before I go to sleep. I become very active and then fall asleep. I already have daddy wrapped around my little fingers.
My Room
Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Eric came over to setup my room. Mom gave directions from the bed. We are just waiting for my glider to arrive so I can be rocked to sleep. Dad has been preparing for me by practicing taking care of Curious George. George is even wearing clothes and a diaper that dad put on.

Baby's Sonograms
Aug. 6, 2008 -- The first time my parents saw me, I was this little white dot on the sonogram. My heartbeat was a strong 181 BPM. Mommy and daddy were so happy!

Aug. 20, 2008 -- At mom's first appointment, they found a fibroid. This was the time they rechecked the fibroid. The sonographer got a good shot of me when I was looking the other way. I was only 7 weeks old. The bright white circle next to my head is my yolk sac. This gives me my yummy nutrients until the placenta takes over. For some reason mommy keeps throwing up my lunch.

Sep. 17, 2008 -- I'm almost 12 weeks old now. You can see much of my bone structure forming. The doctor says everything looks great. I still have a very strong heartbeat.

Oct. 15, 2008 -- Today was the day mommy and daddy were to find out if I was a boy or girl. Little did they know, I am very stubborn. After many attempts by the sonographer poking me, I wasn't going to move so they gave up. Mommy and daddy were disappointed, but glad I was doing very well.

Oct. 25, 2008 -- Mom and dad decided to give it one more try. They went up to Chicago to Baby's First Images and tried to get my picture. This time they got one of me, but I wasn't very happy so I stuck my finger up. Although I did give in and let them know I was a girl. They were so excited! We also went to Babies R Us while we were up in Chicago. I think grandpa Schertz had more fun in the toys than anyone else.

Jan. 15, 2009 -- Mom had an appointment at Maternal Fetus today. The lady confirmed I was a girl, but I still was not willing to give mom and dad any more pictures. I want to be a surprise. Mom was put on bedrest due to low amniotic fluid. I was very active during this appointment.
